War and Children: How to teach them

Unfortunately, this is a hard subject to face.  It is very controversial.  This is why we are going to cover it.

I have to thank the anonymous viewer who made the initial comment which started this.  Even though, they were disparaging and IMO ignorant in their stance. Here's the conversation:

Whatever about your views and theories on war and whether or not ISIS are producing fake content, I just can't get my head around one thing: WHY do you have a child in the room when you're watching such a graphic video??? And by the sounds of it you were trying to explain to him/her about the complexity of war and I wouldn't be surprised if the monitor was in plain view of their eyesight. If that is what happened and that is your child then you're clearly unfit to be a father.

My children have been in war zones. They have been trained on what to do if there is an attack. Children have to know the basics. There is a war going on. It is in every direction now. A World War is inevitable. 
The only unfitness of a father, as you dared insinuate, is that the father or mother or parental guardian would not tell the child what to do in case of emergency. That is the point of being a parent and caring for the new life. The youth have to know. They are not the ones making the war, but they will be the first victims if it is not explained to them.
Now I have a question for you if you will get off your high horse of judgement on some people you do not know yet and you do not know where they have been. Where do you live and how do you raise your children? Do you raise them in fear and ignorant of what could and will happen? What if something happens to you and you are incapacitated? What will the dependents do then? Will they have no clue? Because they never were taught anything? Except to look away, to not think, to not function! Then they will die also.
Clearly your ideas of living life and being prepared are UNFIT for survival.
